For more than 10 years Engineered Packaging Services has relied on the M. A. Folkes Company to supply wood pallets for our automotive glass packaging operation. Our goal of utilizing reclaimed wood products for specific components of the pallets has been a tremendous success. Over the past 10 years, M. A. Folkes has been able to supply quality products while replacing over 10,000,000 board feet of new lumber with reclaimed materials. In addition, we have been able to avoid sending 240 containers of scrap wood products to local landfills because of Michael’s ability to recycle our wood crates. These initiatives have resulted in significant cost savings to EPS Inc. as well as saved the harvesting of thousands of trees.
